Building our own F*ing table.

Business model designs and Minimum Viable Product Roadmap for F*19 design studio.

F*19 is the working moniker of a loosely organized group of ten designers who entered the graduate design foundation program at the IIT Institute of Design in 2018.

This project was a 12-week exploration and definition of the foundational principles of F*19 as a design business. Through worksessions of guided discussion and play, we dreamed about how to create a design organization that could be “joyful and abundant” in its effect on the world around us.

What resulted is two business model designs focused on social and systemic design impact, while centering relationship building and care for ourselves and whomever we have the opportunity to work with.

In my role as project lead I developed unique workshop materials and design frameworks for business model design and a minimum viable product roadmap for F*19.

F*19's internal business model is being prototyped in the fall of 2020.
